Swaba receives the precious gift of hearing
Help give sweet Swaba the gift of hearing
Swaba’s story
2-year-old Swaba was born deaf and is in need of a lifechanging cochlear implant so she can grow up to hear and speak for the rest of her life.
Swaba’s parents are originally from India and have lived in the UAE for 5 years. Her mother is a housewife who looks after Swaba and her sister and her father is as a public relations officer at a local company.
With a ground-breaking cochlear implant Swaba will develop a sense of hearing and grow up the same as children with full hearing abilities. Swaba’s parents do not have the means to provide the cochlear implant and are reaching out to the community to help transform her life.
“Right now, Swaba cannot hear or talk and we know that with the cochlear implant she will be able to experience so much more in life. Nothing would make us happier than to give Swaba the ability to hear the sounds of music, laughter and our voices.”
