13-year-old Abdulrahman has developed severe maxillofacial (mouth and jaw) cysts and relies on painkillers to get through the day. He needs urgent surgery to remove the cysts to live a pain-free life.
Abdulrahman was born in the UAE and lives in Dubai with his mother and sister. Sadly, his father was diagnosed with cancer and returned to their homeland of Sudan to seek treatment.
“Abdulrahman is in constant pain and is not able to eat or sleep. It’s heartbreaking to see him suffer so much and I would do anything to take his suffering away. Unfortunately with my husband out of a job due to his cancer diagnosis we can not afford Abdulrahman’s medical treatment and count on the generosity of Al Jalila Foundation to give my son a reason to smile again.”
