Fatima’s story
Fatima was born with severe hearing loss and her best chance of a world where she can hear is a cochlear implant. The groundbreaking procedure will give her a future of unlimited possibilities.
Fatima is the youngest of 3 daughters. Her parents are originally from Pakistan and came to the UAE in 2011. When Fatima was 8 months old her parents were devastated to learn that their precious daughter could not hear.
Due to a lack of funds, Fatima’s parents had no choice but to opt for a hearing aid which was unsuccessful and they feared the worst. Fatima needs a cochlear implant but sadly her parents are not able to afford the procedure which is Fatima's best chance of being able to hear, learn to speak and grow up with the joys of sound.
