Hajra’s story
3-year-old Hajra was born with a life-threatening heart defect and needs urgent open-heart surgery to give her a chance at a bright future.
Hajra is the only child to her parents, originally from Pakistan, who have called the UAE home for 9 years. Her father works as a technician and is unable to support the cost of this life-saving operation for his daughter.
“Our precious girl loves to watch cartoons and it breaks our heart that she is suffering so much and is not able to enjoy her childhood like other children. She gets tired easily and is often breathless. This critical surgery is her only chance of a healthy future. It is a very costly surgery and we need help to make it happen so that Hajra can grow up happy and strong by our side.”
