Help father of two diagnosed with lung cancer
George’s story
George is a Syrian national and has lived in Dubai since 1994. He was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in July 2020 and has been undergoing immunotherapy to treat the disease.
The father of two, who works at a local hotel, has been on a reduced salary due to the coronavirus pandemic and after his diagnosis he was forced to take extended unpaid leave to focus on his treatment and healing journey.
Unfortunately, George’s medical insurance has run out and he needs financial support to cover the costs of his cancer treatment plan.
George hopes to return to work as soon as he is strong enough and looks forward to “a normal life” with his wife and children.
