Help young mother diagnosed with lung cancer
Grace’s story
Grace, originally from the Philippines, is suffering from small cell lung cancer and needs urgent treatment to manage the debilitating symptoms.
A resident in the UAE since 2007, Grace is an Accountant and lives alone with her young daughter. Grace lived a happy, healthy and active lifestyle until she started experiencing shortness of breath and severe coughing in May 2021 when her cancer diagnosis was confirmed.
Grace is undergoing immunotherapy to treat her cancer and as the cost exceeded her annual insurance limit she was referred to Al Jalila Foundation for support.
